Despite a campaign overshadowed by inconsistent refereeing decisions and controversial penalty calls, the team demonstrated resilience, quality, and determination throughout the tournament.

Now, with eyes firmly set on the 2026 Dongducheon World Cup, Zimbabwe begins its preparations through a series of friendly matches and invitational tournaments aimed at building momentum, strengthening squad chemistry, and sharpening its competitive edge.
