These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zim-Korea Hub (the "Service"), operated by the Zim-Korea Hub team ("we", "our", or "us"). By registering for, or using, the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for Zimbabwean nationals and members of the Zimbabwean diaspora currently residing, studying, or working in South Korea, and for authorised committee members. You must be at least 16 years old to register. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete, and that you will keep it up to date.
You may access the Service by registering with your email address or by using Google Sign-In. When you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a Google account identifier from Google — no more. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and for all activity that takes place under it. Notify us immediately at zimkoreahub@statotec.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

By registering you consent to receive official community communications from us by email, SMS, and/or WhatsApp. These include consular notices, welfare and safety information, event invitations, and similar updates. You may opt out of non-urgent communications at any time by contacting us, though some essential notices relating to your account and safety may continue to be sent.
Our handling of your personal information is described in full in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood it.
You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content (for example, your profile details or emergency contact information) you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any content you post.
All Service content that is not user-submitted — including the Zim-Korea Hub name, logo, design, and source code — is owned by the Zim-Korea Hub team or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without our written permission.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continued access could harm other members or the Service. On termination, we will delete or anonymise your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do our best to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Information shared on the platform (for example, consular schedules) is provided in good faith; members should verify critical details with the relevant authorities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Zim-Korea Hub team nor its volunteers or service providers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
We may modify the Service, these Terms, or our Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
